Our <\/span>Phod\u00e9<\/span> history began in 1996 with Daniel <\/span>Eclache<\/span>, a man <\/span><\/span>passionate <\/span><\/span><\/strong>about <\/span><\/span>science <\/span><\/span><\/strong>and, more particularly, <\/span>about <\/span>olfaction. A veterinarian by training, Daniel held a fascination with the <\/span><\/span>brain <\/span><\/span><\/strong>and the power of <\/span><\/span>scents<\/strong>.<\/span><\/span> Convinced of the ability of olfactory molecules to influence well-being, <\/span>emotions<\/span> and behaviour, he founded <\/span>Phod\u00e9<\/span> with <\/span>a clear vision<\/span>: to improve everyday life <\/span>with<\/span> solutions that improve <\/span><\/span>well-being, <\/span>pleasure<\/span> and performance <\/span><\/span><\/strong>in equal measure<\/span>. Armed with his <\/span>expertise<\/span>, he beg<\/span>a<\/span>n by applying his innovative ideas to livestock farming.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Pierre Etienne <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Pierre Etienne <\/span><\/span><\/a><\/strong>joined <\/span>Phod\u00e9<\/span> in 1998. A chemist by training, he set up the first production workshop with Daniel. <\/span>Laboratories were then created along with <\/span>some first <\/span><\/span>product formulations <\/span><\/span><\/strong>and the <\/span><\/span>unique formulation<\/strong> technologies <\/strong><\/span><\/span>for which <\/span>Phod\u00e9<\/span> is still famous. Pierre, a clear pillar of the company, assumed the position of <\/span><\/span>R&D and Industry Manager<\/span><\/span><\/strong> then bec<\/span>ame <\/span><\/span>Assistant<\/span> Manag<\/span>ing Director<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span> His long-term vision and thorough knowledge of the company resulted in <\/span>his <\/span>promotion to the role of <\/span><\/span>Manag<\/span>ing Director<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, while continuing to <\/span>instil<\/span> the spirit of <\/span><\/span>innovation<\/strong> <\/span><\/span>and growth that has driven <\/span>Phod\u00e9<\/span> from the <\/span>outset<\/span>.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

Virginie Noirot et Marion Allaoua <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our R&D department is led by two iconic women:
Virginie Noirot and Marion Allaoua. Virginie, now Head of R&D, joined Phod\u00e9 in 1999 and launched the first scientific programmes. Together with Daniel, she designed flagship ranges such as Optifeed<\/strong> and Cristalfeed<\/strong> for livestock farming, as well as Innolphae\u00ae<\/strong> for nutraceuticals. Marion joined the team in 2015 via a CIFRE thesis on the microbiota. She has since contributed to major innovations such as the Olpheel range for aquaculture.<\/p>

Working alongside the R&D team and laboratories, they drive product innovations allying science and better being.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2024, Daniel <\/span>Eclache<\/span>, President of <\/span>Phod\u00e9<\/span>, appointed\u00a0Pierre Etienne<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0as <\/span>Manag<\/span>ing Director<\/span> and <\/span><\/span>Nathalie Legendre<\/span><\/span><\/a> <\/strong>as <\/span><\/span>Assistant <\/span>Managing Director<\/span><\/span><\/strong>, both key figures at <\/span>Phod\u00e9<\/span>. They were natural choices to head the <\/span>Group<\/span>.
